Bagno di Gavorrano is the modern, low-lying centre of the municipality of Gavorrano, in the Tuscan Maremma, province of Grosseto: born with the mining growth of the hilltop village, today it is a practical, well-served town — shops, schools, services — perfectly placed between the Colline Metallifere and the sea of the Gulf of Follonica.

Wine and olive oil

The municipality of Gavorrano falls within the Monteregio di Massa Marittima DOC area; hills of vines and olive groves (Toscano IGP extra virgin olive oil) begin immediately above the town.

Festivals

The location puts everything within reach: the summer performances at the Teatro delle Rocce in the former Gavorrano quarry, the events of the UNESCO mining park, and the summer festivities on the Follonica coast.
